The company's quarterly revenues declined 9.1% to $282.5 million, from $310.9 million in the same quarter previous year.
Sino-Forest Corporation is a leading, commercial forest plantation operator in China. The Canadian company started its operations in 1994 and was one of the first few foreign and privately managed operators involved in forest products in the PRC. Its principal businesses include the ownership and management of forest plantation trees, the sales of standing timber and wood logs and the complementary manufacturing of downstream engineered-wood products.
