Feb 18, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased in December 2014 amounted to Euro 3.3 million, which is almost the same as in November 2014. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 4%, of wood fuel by about 4% and of other industrial roundwood by about 18%. The value of purchased pulpwood was almost 26% higher, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The total value of roundwood purchased in December 2014 was almost 21% lower than in December 2013, mainly due to lower quantity of purchased sawlogs conifers.

The value of purchased wood fuel was higher by about 52% and of pulpwood by more than 25%. Lower than in December 2013 was the value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs (by 33%) and the value of other industrial roundwood (by 34%).
