Higher was the value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs (by almost 12%), while the value of purchased pulpwood was lower by 21%, of wood fuel by almost 40% and of other industrial roundwood by about 44%.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in August 2015 was about 112% higher than in August 2014, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased sawlogs conifers. Higher was the value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs (by almost 157%) and pulpwood (by about 4%), while the value of purchased wood fuel and other industrial roundwood was lower (by about 13% and 19%, respectively).
