Prices on the European continent will increase by Euro 40 per tonne and in the United Kingdom by GBP 25 per tonne. “This increase is in response to higher costs for energy, chemicals and transportation," said Eddie L. Smith, vice president, Sonoco. Sonoco-Alcore S.a.r.l. is wholly owned by Sonoco and operates 30 tube and core plants and seven paper mills on the European continent and in the United Kingdom.
