Supply of Japanese plywood grows

There was a sharp increase in imports and domestic mills that were unaffected by the earthquake and tsunami increased production by almost 20%.
April imports amounted to 337,100 cubic metres, 12% more than in April 2010. This was the highest monthly import level since October 2008 and over 75,000 cubic metres more than the average monthly volume for last year.
