Sveza to build $2 billion pulp mill in Vologda region, Russia
Sveza and government of Vologda Oblast signed investment agreement to develop and implement of investment project. Total investment for the pulp plant construction is estimated to be approximately $2 billion. New facility will have an annual capacity of up to 1 million tonnes of bleached sulphate pulp.

develop and implement of investment project. Total investment for the pulp plant construction is estimated to be approximately $2 billion. Private investment will amount to
about 90%. The project will be implemented on a public-private partnership, as the company
said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
New
facility will have an annual capacity of up to 1 million tonnes of bleached
sulphate pulp.The start-up
is scheduled in 2018, but exact term will depend on all final approvals.
At the
moment, pre-construction phase has already started.
