Jun 04, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. The SVEZA mill is the first in Russia to achieve
Integrated Management System (IMS) certification. The Manturovsky mill achieved
certification on three criteria: quality, environment and safety. An inspection
of compliance with all the requirements will be carried out annually by a
visiting committee, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom
Network.
The IMS certification confirms compliance with two or more management
system standards. This enables companies to integrate their systems.
“The Sveza mill was the first of its competitors to achieve IMS
certification. In doing so it has set an example of a socially responsible
business,” says Lyudmila Greenberg, an expert in the field of quality
management systems certification from the Regional Center of Certification.
Sveza is a modern, fast-growing group of companies, one of the leading
players in the woodworking market. The company produces high-quality plywood
from natural Russian birch and hold the world leadership in this sector.
