Oct 20, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Benima AB, the industrial and automation unit of Swedish IT group Teleca AB, said it had received a second order to deliver a role, bale, and warehouse management system, based on its PaperLine software to Swedish packaging paper group Billerud AB. Billerud will use the system at its mill in Skarblacka, southern Sweden. The value of the deal has not been disclosed. The order follows an order, announced on May 23, 2005, for the same system to Billerud's Gruvon mill in Grums, in central Sweden. The system, which is said to be among the most advanced in the world, runs on Benima's own IT platform, which is based on U.S computer giant Microsoft's .NET technology. Benima said on May 23, 2005 that Billerud also had options to implement similar solutions at other mills. Benima specialises in industrial IT and automation consultancy. It employs some 5 000 in its 30 offices in the Nordic countries. Teleca employs some 3,000 in 15 countries in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Billerud has three mills in Sweden and one in the UK. It also has 11 sales offices, of which seven in Europe. Annual sales average SEK 7.0 billion ($887.5 million).
