Dec 19, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Summer of 2011 Swedspan started the construction of a new HDF mill in Orla, located in Eastern Poland. At the same location the sawmill started production during December 2011. Holtec delivered the log sorting system that scans and separates saw logs plus sawmill log infeed system, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. The log sorting line combines Holtec's knowledge and long experience in the sawmill industry. The log scanning is done by a high capacity cross conveyance system. The identification and separation of saw logs from the industrial logs resulted in creating an additional value form the industrial logs.
