TNPL to increase production

Nov 27, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers (TNPL) of India is set to invest in new equipment that will in turn boost its production capacity, as Bransch nyheter reported.
The company plans to expand the site of its current mill and install a new paper machine; PM 3. This will raise the mill's production capacity from 245,000 to 400,000 tpy of newsprint, WFU, copy and specialty papers, and a new deinking plant.
August 2010 is the date earmarked for PM3 to come on stream with a new deinking plant being set up until June 2011. The new deinking plant will have a production capacity of 300 t/day.
