Turkish furniture company Turkpan targets exports of 1.5 mln euro ($1.6 mln) in 2003 and of 3.0 mln euro ($3.2 mln) in 2004, the company said on March 14, 2003. No comparative figures were available. Turkpan has recently started exporting products to Italy. The company plans to soon enter the German and French markets, the company's board chairman Cavit Cakar said. Turkpan invested $2.5 mln (2.4 mln euro) in the establishment of its factory in the Samsun Free Zone, Turkey in August 2000. No further details were available.
