As a provision of its Climate Savers agreement, the company's new and existing buildings now use environmentally friendly and energy efficient materials. Collins anticipates saving $5 million by increasing its energy efficiency.
Collins becomes the first forest products company in the U.S. to be a signatory to the World Wildlife Fund Climate Savers Tokyo Declaration.
