UPM sells 11% of Metsä Fibre shares to Metsäliitto

With reference to the call option notice which UPM received from Metsäliitto Cooperative on 17 April 2012, UPM will complete the sale and purchase of the shares in Metsä Fibre Oy (formerly Oy Metsä-Botnia Ab). In the sale and purchase, UPM sells its 11% share in Metsä Fibre Oy to Metsäliitto Cooperative for Euro 150 million.

With reference to the call option notice which UPM received from Metsäliitto Cooperative on 17 April 2012, UPM will complete the sale and purchase of the shares in Metsä Fibre Oy (formerly Oy Metsä-Botnia Ab). In the sale and purchase, UPM sells its 11% share in Metsä Fibre Oy to Metsäliitto Cooperative for Euro 150 million. The sale and purchase will be completed on 24 April 2012, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
