Mar 22, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. U.S. total kraft paper shipments in February 2013 were 119 thousand tons, a decrease of 15% compared to the prior month, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.

Bleached kraft paper shipments increased year-over-year 13% while unbleached kraft paper shipments decreased 13% year-over-year.

As a result, total kraft paper shipments are down slightly less than 1% compared to the first two months of 2012. Total month-end inventory decreased 3% to 71.3 thousand tons this month compared to January 2013 month-end inventories.
