VPK Packaging Group's 3Q consolidated sales increased with 19,1%, compared to the same period last year to a level of Euro 463.6 million, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. Within the Paper division sales increased by 68,8%. This growth is mainly driven by necessary price increases due to non profitable levels during the last year and the continued price increase of raw materials. Within the Corrugated Board division the sales increased with 19,0%. This growth is mainly driven by the recovery of the volumes compared to last year, as well as by the successful expansion of our activities in Poland. The effect of increased paper prices continues in the next quarters. The Specialties division knew a sales growth of 9,8%. This increase is also driven by the recovery of the volumes compared to last year.
