VPK Packaging Group has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of 100% of the shares in ICS Europaks, a corrugated board box manufacturer based on Galvone Industrial Estate in Limerick, Ireland, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network. 

Rigid Containers, VPK’s subsidiary in the UK, will continue to run the ICS Europaks business as a stand-alone unit.

“We are really excited about bringing ICS Europaks into the Rigid Containers Group,” states Richard Coward, Managing Director of Rigid Containers. “ICS has a well established customer base that we very much look forward to working with. Once the manufacturing site in Limerick becomes part of the Rigid Containers Group, we can reduce lead times for the Irish market, which will further confirm our market position.”
