In addition, Sankelo will cooperate with the CEO and the Director of Public Affairs in projects with the aim of promoting the use of domestic fuel, while also improving the employment effect and Finland’s self-sufficiency in energy.
The position is for a fixed-term, and Sankelo will report to CEO Tomi Yli-Kyyny. Sankelo is currently deputy chair of the National Coalition Party.
According to Vapo Oy’s Managing Director Tomi Yli-Kyyny, one of Vapo’s objectives is to be a central player in both developing various Cleantech and bioeconomy projects in Finland and increasing the market share of domestic energy sources.
All of these business areas require cooperation and constant communication among the various stakeholders on both municipal and state level.
