The insurance program includes insuring the enterprise against damage and demolition of buildings, raw materials, final products and against the break in production (due to a fire, explosion and etc.)
The risks were reinsured in Ukranian and foreign companies.
Ismailsky pulp and paper mill was launched in 1965. It initially produced only pulp. In 1967 the mill launched cardboard production, and started corrugated cardboard production in 1969. The mill employs 800 workers. The mill provides 15% of Ukraine’s total amount of corrugated-cardboard package.
Vest insurance company was registered on June, 7 2000. It is owned by Osnova concern comprising industrial, commercial and agricultural enterprises. The company’s stock insurance capital is 2,34 million hryvnas ($433,7 thousand). In 2002 Vesta earned 5,16 million hryvnas bonus, the company’s profits equaled 2,127 millon hryvnas. Insurance bonus within 9 months reached 3,296 million hryvnas, the payments made 2,203 million hryvnas.
