Välinge acquired several patent families from Flooring Technologies. The patents cover, among others, various solutions of fold down profiles made in the core material as well as solutions made with a separate locking tongue. The scope of the Intellectual Property covers laminate, wood as well as plastic based cores. Välinge thereby further broadens the scope of own and 3rd party IP in relation to fold down technologies for flooring.
