Apr 06, 2016. /Lesprom Network/. Grupo Gondi and WestRock have completed the formation of a joint venture combining their paper and packaging operations in Mexico, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The combination was recently approved by Mexico’s Antitrust Authority, the Comisión Federal de Competencia Económica (COFECE), and the companies will begin operating in Mexico as a single entity immediately.

Grupo Gondi is one of the leading paper packaging suppliers in the Mexican market, with 10 plants in Mexico, supplying innovative paper packaging solutions to over 650 customers.
