Jul 23, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. xpedx, the distribution arm of International Paper said it has completed the acquisition of Vancouver-based Gould Paper (Canada), Ltd., a subsidiary of privately held Gould Paper Corporation, headquartered in New York City, according to PaperAge journal. Gould Paper (Canada) is a well-respected, customer-focused fine papers distributor serving the western Canada market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Gould Paper (Canada) will operate as part of xpedx Canada, xpedx said. Gould Paper (Canada) employs approximately 65 people, with distribution facilities in Vancouver, British Columbia; and Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta.
