In accordance with the project production, exports and staff accounting systems were automated. The project started in November 2004.
1C: Enterprise 7.7, Production+Service+Accountance Ukraine and Salary+Staff Ukraine were chosen as basis for the automation project. 25 workplaces were automated in accordance with the project.
Grafia Ukraine IT director Alexander Shpak said that the transition to the specialized configuration allowed to conduct the analysis of operation, raise discipline and work speed. The company would not disclose the cost of the project.
Joint Ukrainian-German enterprise Grafia Ukraine specializes in the production of package for tobacco industry. The company will invest EUR 0.15 million in advanced printing production in 2006.
Production increased 40% to UAH 337 million in 2004, production output is expected to rise 20% in 2005.
The enterprise was established in 1995 on the basis of Cherkasskaya ‘Pravda’ printery. The enterprise exports goods to Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany. According to the company, 94.78% of shares are owned by Mayr Melnhof Karton (Austria). Mayr Melnhof Karton AG is the largest manufacturer of cardboard from recycled paper and the largest cardboard package manufcaturer in Europe.
