Jun 29, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. A&J Scott is to install SAP Business One, becoming the first UK sawmill to adopt the cutting edge Enterprise Requirement System. Work is underway now overhauling the IT infrastructure in readiness for a planned roll out of SAP Business One in the autumn of 2015, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

This significant investment is seen as a transformational piece of work which will allow the company to:

- Adopt a market leading state-of-the-art system, thereby improving ability to integrate with customers.

- Reduce the time taken from order through to delivery.

- Improve ability to deliver on time and in full.

- Increase production capacity.

- Provide a solid platform for further growth.

- Identify process efficiencies which can create further customer benefit.
