Feb 27, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. APP Timber reports a 25% increase in their business in 2006 compared to 2005 with a total trading volume of $22.4 million. According to Michael Hermens, managing director, this makes the company the largest southeast Asian based provider of imported sawn timber and veneer into Asia. The company expects the trading volume to grow at least another 25% this year due to increased marketing operations in Asia. APP Timber was incorporated about 10 years ago but most of the staff have 15-20 years experience in the wood working industry. The company sources foreign sawn timber and veneers for the Asian wood manufacturing industry.
