Apr 20, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. NewPage Holding Corporation, Ohio, USA, a coated paper manufacturer, on Tuesday filed for an initial public offering of as much as $300 million in common stock, Reuters agency reported.
The company has hired Goldman Sachs & Co. and UBS Investment Bank to manage the IPO, according to a preliminary offering document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
NewPage Holding Corporation operates four integrated pulp and paper mills in Kentucky, Maine, Maryland and Michigan, with a total annual production capacity of about 2.2 million short tones of coated paper and about 200,000 short tons of market pulp.
It is seeking a New York Stock Exchange listing under the symbol "NWP".
