Dec 09, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. The Biomass Thermal Energy Council (BTEC) elects five new Directors and the reelection of two Directors to its 2014 Board of Directors, as the BTEC said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

“The addition of our new Directors furthers the wide variety of expertise represented on the BTEC Board, and underscores the progress BTEC has made towards an inclusive biomass thermal advocacy,” said Dan Wilson, BTEC Chairmain and Vice President of Wilson Engineering Services. “The diversity of the Board is a testament to the broad support for biomass thermal markets as a vehicle for energy independence and job creation.”

“Our Board of Directors represents the myriad of stakeholders in the biomass thermal industry and will help lead BTEC in a comprehensive effort to improve the biomass thermal market,” Wilson continued. “I am happy to welcome our new and reelected members to the 2014 Board of Directors, and I look forward to building on our accomplishments in the coming year.”

The Biomass Thermal Energy Council is a non-profit association dedicated to advancing the use of biomass for heat and other thermal energy applications.
