Canadian lumber production increased by 0.5% in October
Canadian sawmills increased lumber production by 3% from September to 5 312.7 thousand cubic metres in October. Compared with October 2013, lumber production decreased 0.5%.

Sawmills shipped 5 328.5 thousand cubic metres of lumber in October, up
6.2% from September.
