The innovations will not be applied to adhesives, paper and the materials that have already been treated. More than 100 enterprises in Primorie region of Russia are currently exporting timber. 1117 thousand cub m of timber were exported through Ussuryisk customs office only in 2004. 60 railway cars loaded with timber cargo (mainly round timber) for export were sent daily. 76% of all timber export cargo was composed by round timber, 12% - by sawn timber, 3% - chips and 9% - layer and glued timber. However timber exports to China may be reduced drastically. Beginning from March, 1 2005 new standards were applied by the EU, China is planning to join the initiative on January, 1 2006.
