Total production during the January-May period rose 4.2% to 1.88 million tons, the National Bureau of Statistics said, as Dow Jones informed Lesprom Network. Meanwhile, paper and paperboard production in May rose 12% on year to 8.78 million tons. January-May paper and paperboard output rose 18% on year to 40.18 million tons. Plywood output in May reached 13.79 million cubic meters, up 22% on year. Production during the January-May period reached 59.03 million cubic meters, up 26% on year.
