Oct 14, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Domtar celebrated the sale of five million tonnes of Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper, as FSC said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Domtar revolutionized the industry when it became the first company in North America to offer FSC-certified copy paper in 2005.

Since then, Domtar has grown to offer the widest range of FSC-certified copy paper on the market, through its EarthChoice® product line.

And while the company has pledged to increase its use of FSC-certified fiber by 25% above 2010 levels by 2020, it has also set the aspirational goal of eventually procuring 100% of its wood fiber from FSC-certified sources.
