Estonian wood exports fell by 20% in July

Sep 24, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Exports of wood and related products from Estonia fell in July, it has been revealed, as KMS Baltics reported.
Figures released by Statistics Estonia show that EEK 568 million ($51.8 million) worth of such goods were exported over this period, a decline of 20% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
However, wood and related products fared better than the overall export market in the country which declined by 26% when compared to July 2009.
