European Forest Institute (EFI) 2017 Annual Conference has elected Prof. Marco Marchetti, Italy as a new Board member for the period 2017-2020.


Prof. Marchetti is Full Professor (Chair of Forest Management and Conservation) and Vice Rector at the University of Molise, Italy. He was formerly Chair of EFI’s Scientific Advisory Board (2012-2014).

European Forest Institute is an international organisation, established by European States. EFI conducts research and provide policy support on issues related to forests.
