European consumers again reduce pulp stores: UTIPULP
004. European consumers reduced pulp stores by 2,2%, or by 28,614 tons, in May 2004 to 1,273 million tons compared with the prior period in 2003, according to the data announced by UTIPULP. In April 2004 pulp stores declined 0,3% to 1,301 million tons.

In May 2004 consumers’ pulp stores increased by 78,793 tons (6,6%) compared with the prior period in 2003 (1,194 million tons).
Pulp consumption in May 2004 increased 1,4% to 1,219 million tons compared with April 2004, while pulp consumption reduced 5,5% in May 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003.
