Pulp stores reduced 62.31 thousand tons from 1.256 million tons in June 2004 to 1.193 million tons in July 2004. Pulp stores by the end of July 2004 exceeded the pulp stores reported during the prior period in June 2003 by only 232 tons.
Pulp consumption in July 2004 declined 1.1% to 1.218 million tons compared with June 2004; down 2.8% to 1.253 million tons compared with July 2003.
