FiberMark receives Forest Stewardship Council certification

FiberMark’s CoC and Controlled Wood Certification verifies the flow of FSC-certified forest products through its supply chain and into its final products, that the papers are made from trees harvested according to strict environmental standards and forest management practices.
The majority of FiberMark’s papers are made from renewable wood fiber, and all are elemental and process chlorine free. Many of FiberMark’s cover stocks also have a high percentage of recycled and PCW content. Recently, the company unveiled a line of highquality environmentally friendly cover papers.
FiberMark has invested in conservation technologies and training that have enabled the company to reduce its overall consumption of energy by approximately 20% over the last five years.
