A four-month-old conflict in the Finnish paper sector could have a negative impact on economic growth in the Nordic country, Finance Minister Antti Kalliomaeki warned. According to the finance ministry's latest forecast, GDP is expected to slow to 3.3% this year. The paper and forestry industry, which accounts for 6% of Finnish growth and 25% of exports, has been hard hit for more than four months by production stoppages.
