Mar 02, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. Finnish Vuokatti has refused acquisition of Mezensky woodmill (Arkhanguelsk region, Russia), head of Mezensky region Igor Zaborsky said. According to him, the company was the only candidate for purchase of the enterprise. “We hoped that the deal will be exercised, but company’s representatives decided that this object isn’t interesting for them because it requires large investments in reconstruction”, Zaborsky said. Head of the region said that region’s administration will continue seeking owner for such an important enterprise, Regnum informed.
