Jun 14, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Finnish timber industrialists and trade unions resumed negotiations, the North-West Timber Sector Confederation (Russia) announced. According to the confederation, the negotiations give a new hope that the lockout will stop and the Finnish pulp and paper industry will resume operation. As reported earlier, on June, 1 2005 a peacekeeper in the negotiations presented the final agreement to stop the continuing lockout. However the trade unions rejected the agreement.
