Apr 07, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Fraser Papers in Gorham, NH, USA, is shutting down for a week because of a lack of orders, as WMUR Manchester reported. The company employs about 300 people, and town officials said it's unclear how many will be affected by the temporary shutdown. Interim Town Manager Bill Jackson said the company has kept a core crew of 50 to 75 employees working during similar shutdowns. The Gorham paper mill produces a wide range of uncoated freesheet grades for printing applications and wet crepe towel for the "away-from-home" segment.
