Jan 23, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. In the first half of 2014 Guyana’s timber exports were worth $21.8 million compared with the $16.8 million in the first half of 2013, a 29% increase, ITTO reported. 

Guyana’s exports of sawnwood and plywood increased in volume and value by 54% and 29%, respectively. While log exports fell year on year in the first half, they still comprised almost 80% of all exports in terms of volume.
