Oct 24, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. In January-September 2006 Vladimir region of Russia increased lumber import three times year-on-year to $16.6 million, Vladimir customs informed. Wood and wood products export rose by 34% to $26.8 million. In total, foreign trade turnover of Vladimir region rose by 27% to $389.8 million. Export rose by 32% to $148.4 million, import – by 50% to $241.4 million, negative foreign trade turnover balance – 1.9 times to $93 million. Commodity turnover with far abroad countries increased by 32% to $256.7 million, with CIS countries – by 20% to $133.1 million.
