In March-May 2009 shipping volume at Segezha pulpmill grew by 8%

Due to sales promotion activities, improving performance on traditional markets and approaching new regional ones, since February 2009 Segezha pulp and paper mill OJSC managed to increase sales volume and secure orders portfolio and load of papermaking equipment. Since March, shipping volume exceeded pre-crisis level, as reported by Karelinform agency with a reference to PR department of Investlesprom Holding CJSC.
In March, deliveries of sack paper exceeded the similar indicator of 2008 by 8% and were 23,100 tons. This positive trend remained in April and May, with 22,700 and 22,300 tons of products shipped respectively, while the planned volume was 20+ thousand for April and 19,000 for May. Thus, the growth of shipping volume compared to the previous year’s indicators was 6.2 and 7.4% respectively.
