International Paper is hosting an Investor Day on Tuesday, June 9 from 8 a.m. to noon ET in New York City to discuss the company's global strategy and long-term goals particularly as they relate to the company's Industrial Packaging and Printing Papers businesses. The event will be hosted by John Faraci, chairman and CEO, and will include presentations by Tim Nicholls, chief financial officer; Carol Roberts, senior vice president of Industrial Packaging; and Wayne Brafford, senior vice president of Printing & Communications Papers. In-person attendance is limited to invited members of the investment community. However, the event will be webcast live. A replay of the webcast also will be available on the Web site beginning approximately three hours after the presentation. International Paper is a global paper and packaging company with manufacturing operations in North America, Europe, Latin America, Russia, Asia and North Africa. Its businesses include uncoated papers and industrial and consumer packaging, complemented by xpedx, the company's North American distribution company.
