Jean-François Mérette leaving EACOM Timber
Apr 27, 2011. EACOM Timber Corporation announced that Jean-François Mérette, President and COO, Eastern Canada has advised that he will be leaving the Company on June 18, 2011 to pursue other opportunities.
Apr 27, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. EACOM Timber Corporation announced that Jean-François Mérette, President and COO, Eastern Canada has advised that he will be leaving the Company on June 18, 2011 to pursue other opportunities.
Mr. Mérette joined the Company on the acquisition of the Domtar forest products business in June of 2010. Mr. Mérette has agreed to continue on a consulting basis after June 18, 2011 to provide for an orderly transition

EACOM Timber Corporation owns seven sawmills and an equity interest in an eighth sawmill, all located in Eastern Canada, and related tenures. The mills are Timmins, Nairn Centre, Gogama and Ear Falls in Ontario, and Val-d'Or, Ste-Marie and Matagami in Quebec, Canada.
