German surface and Web inspection systems producer Parsytec AG has received a follow-up order from German specialty paper manufacturer KANZAN to supply an inspection system, Parsytec said on December 8, 2005. The Parsytec system will be installed on the paper machine 6, where KANZAN needs to change the applied inspection system due to a change in the product programme. Parsytec expects the new order to have a positive impact on the company's sales efforts on the Japanese paper market. KANZAN was founded as a joint venture in 1990 by the Japanese paper manufacturer Kanzaki Paper, currently Oji Paper, and German Zanders Feinpapiere AG. The company was set up to establish a European production location for the highly promising thermal papers market.
