Jul 16, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Koppers Holdings Inc. appointed Leroy M. Ball as vice president and CFO, effective September 1, 2010, the company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. Mr. Ball will replace Brian H. McCurrie who was appointed Senior Vice President, Global Carbon Materials and Chemicals effective May 1, 2010. Since May 1, Mr. McCurrie has also been the acting CFO for Koppers and will continue in this role until Mr. Ball joins Koppers on September 1, 2010. Mr. Ball, age 42, was Senior Vice President, CFO of Calgon Carbon Corporation, a provider of services, products and solutions for purifying water and air, since 2002. Walt Turner, President and CEO of Koppers, said, "I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Leroy Ball as our new CFO. His experience in international business and the chemical industry will be a great fit for Koppers, and I am confident Leroy will continue the Koppers tradition of strong financial management." Koppers is a global integrated producer of carbon compounds and treated wood products.
