Nov 5, 2003. /Lesprom Network/. Continental-Management corporation developed a project of a timber-processing mill construction worth $50 million in Krasnoyarsk-region. The project was developed in accordance with the agreement signed between Krasnoyarsk-region administration and financial and industrial groups on the major investment attraction to the region. The project main stages were discussed on November, 5 at the meeting between Krasnoyarsk-region deputy-governor Sergey Sokol and Continental-Management timber-industry corporation top-managers (affiliated to Russky Alluminij company) Various crucial issues were agreed on during the negotiations, including the site for the construction, energy sources. The issue of raw-materials supply to the new enterprise was also discussed. The negotiating parts agreed on holding a presentation of the project with the participation of regional administration representatives, regional MPs and timber-industry chiefs. The new production will bring $3-3,5 million/yr of tax payments to the regional budget, local administration public-affairs reported.
