Kruger to idle coated paper production at Trois-Rivières mill

Feb 01, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. Kruger Inc. announced on January 31 its decision to idle coated paper production at its Trois-Rivières mill, Québec, from March 6 to 13. During this period, the mill will continue its newsprint and supercalendered grades production.
This curtailment will allow the company to re-balance its production in accordance with its order book by reducing the production of coated paper by 3 800 metric tonnes.
