Lee & Man Paper to boost output by 50%

Oct 07, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Co. is scheduled to increase its annual paper output capacity by more than 50% within two years, as China Knowledge reported.
CEO Lee Man Chun said that Lee & Man Paper aims to build five production lines in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province to raise its capacity from current 4.55 million tons to 6.95 million tons by June 2012.
Lee & Man paper has allocated HK$4.4 billion ($657 million) for capital expenditure in the next two fiscal years, whereas it spent HK$700 million ($104.5 million) over the year ended June.
Lee Man Chun added that the firm, which imports most of its raw materials, will be benefited from strong RMB.
