The supervisory board of Lenzing AG has decided to extend the contract of Peter Untersperger, CEO, by another three years until March 2013, the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. Christian Reisinger will retire from the company at his own request on March 31, 2010. He joined the company 20 years ago has been a member of the management board since January 1, 1999. After Christian Reisinger’s retirement the supervisory board intends to appoint a new third member of the management board, currently consisting also of Friedrich Weninger. Lenzing provides the global textile and nonwovens industry with high-quality cellulose fibers.
